"For The Joy Set Before Me"
I could have lived forever,
As a simple mortal man.
I could have called 10,000 angels,
To help me to stand.
But I laid down my life
Despising the shame.
For the joy set before me,
Was your life to gain.
I could have stayed in heaven,
As the supreme ruler of all things.
I could have played among the stars,.
And listened for the flutter of angel's wings.
But I laid down my life,
Despising the shame.
For the joy set before me,
Was to know you by name.
I could have sent my armies,
To rid the world of sin.
I could have destroyed the Earth,
As I did way back then.
But I bore the suffering of the cross,
Despising the shame.
For the joy set before me,
Was to take away your pain.
I could have done a lot of things,
To make this world right.
Or I could have done nothing,
And ignored you plight.
But God so loved the world,
That I endured the shame.
For the joy set before me,
Was your love to gain.

If u have never asked Jesus into your heart.
He waits for u with open arms ...
Lord Jesus, I know I'm a sinner and cannot save myself.
I need You as my Savior. Thank You for dying in my
place and rising again. I believe in You. Please set
me free from my sin. I want to live with You in
heaven someday. Amen.
"He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth.
"When they hurled their insults at him,
he did not retaliate; when he suffered,
he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted
himself to him who judges justly. He himself
bore our sins in his body on the tree, so
that we might die to sins and live for
righteousness; by his wounds you have been
healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but
now you have returned to the Shepherd and
Overseer of your souls."~1Peter2:22-25~ "I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved
me and gave Himself for me."
~Galatians 2:20~ "You were called, because Christ suffered for you,
leaving you an example, that you should
follow in his steps. God demonstrates His own
love toward us, in that while we were still sinners,
Christ died for us." ~Romans 5:8~
Our greatest freedom is freedom from sin.
Not the nails, but His wondrous love for me,
Kept my Lord on the cross of Calvary;
Oh, what power could hold Him there—
All my sin and shame to bear! —Keller
God loves you as much as if you were His
only child. Your love, O God, would spare
no pain To conquer death and win;
You sent Your only Son to die
To rescue us from sin. —D. De Haan
“The love of God is one of the great realities of
the universe, a pillar upon which the hope of the
world rests. But it is a personal, intimate thing too.
God does not love populations, He loves people.
He loves not masses, but men.” — A. W. Tozer
