Let God Arise Ministries Philippines

  Philippines Updates
Greetings to all our partners and family,

Barbra and I are back here in the Philippines just getting over our jet lag and preparing for teams that will be arriving to minister with us.

We are blessed to find out after arriving here that Gary & Merle Fondren whom we first met in Oregon are moving to live here near us. They have a passion for those in jails to minister to them and also have a healing ministry.

Our first ministry trip this year was to the Island of Cebu.  Gary, Merle, Pastor George Alviola one of our pastor's, joined with Barbra and I.  We drove our car taking a barge  across to Cebu Island and drove around the Island to one of Let God Arise Churches in Lilo-an Cebu.  Father told me to take Gary there to connect with our ministries there.  It was a spur of the moment trip.  Upon arrival Gary and Merle showed a Tagalog film to the school students.  About two hundred children from our christian school were blessed.  Later that night they decided to have a meeting. on short notice we had about 30 to 40 people who gathered outside.  Most of those in attendance where from Catholic and UCPC back ground.  They never experienced the out pouring of the Holy Spirit before.  George and I ministered the Word and then opened the altar for infilling of the Holy Spirit.  Wow!  Many instantly began to speak in other tongues.  Many were manifesting the power of God.  The service lasted till almost 12 am.  The pastors daughter got filled and began speaking in what sounded like Chinese tongue.  She began laying hands on others all the time praying in the Spirit.  Then she got a pen and paper and began to write words of prophecy.  As I watched her I became aware this had to be God, no person could write that fast in the natural.  We spent the next day from 7am till 4pm praying and giving words of knowledge to people.  Then we traveled to another barangay where we showed the film and again many were prayed for and blessed by God.  The next day we joined with Mercy Ministries in Cebu city and showed the film to a group of non christian students.  Sister Bayon prayed with them and about 200 received the Lord.  All glory goes to HIM.

Last Saturday I had a  divine appointment.  We were invited to attend a church anniversary where Gary and Merle attend in Bacong.   We didn't really feel like attending, but Father prompted us to go.  The guest speaker was from Manila.  When he sat down in the front of the church he began staring at me.  Soon he came to where we where sitting and said, maybe you do not remember me, I am Pastor Ding from GMA Cavite. The prophecy you gave to me in 1993 has all come to past.  I have been looking for you and praying I would find you.  How good is our God.  He is also with a medical mission here and they are going to answer one of our prayers concerning Juliet's mother who needs an operation.

In closing I have some good news and not so good news.  The good news is that Pastor Al Keech had to postpone his coming here till April, due to lack of money for their flights.  Why is that good news?  Because it also give us more time to generate the two thousand dollars we need over and about our monthly support, for travel, food and housing while they are here.

The not so good news is we have only $600.00 of the $2000.00 needed.  The two thousand will also be used for another team coming here this month.  Bruce and Tabitha Gander will be here soon.

Please send any amount asap to our USA address, 2020 Alameda Apt.14d - Anaheim Ca. 92801 c/o Barbara J. Bishop.
