"God's Loving Sacrifice For Man!"
Easter is God's gift to mortal man,
His death on Calvary was His Father's plan.
What awesome love He had for us that day,
Was simply more than any words I can say!
And so on that horrific day He died,
With His mother weeping bitterly by His side,
Not really knowing what did lie ahead,
Only seeing that their beloved Lord was now dead!
Surely they knew He would arise again,
For all of us and them He did call His friend,
To live forever in God's Paradise above,
With all His saints He unconditionally does love!
He was risen for a purpose with healing in His wings;
For that my heart with rapture now gloriously sings
Of a Christ who cared that much for me.
Oh I'm just not worthy, not worthy you see!
For I know that the Lord is on my side.
Even if it had been just me He would have died,
So that I can live with Him in His Sweet Forever;
There to praise Jesus will be my only endeavor!
