Greetings from Let God Arise Ministries International, River of Life Network. The last newsletter was the end of Nov. so we trust you had the best Christmas celebration ever and that your New Year will be filled with Gods' blessings as you continue to serve Him and do His will.
Christmas in the Philippines was a blessed time of sharing with our house helpers and church family. Barbra was greatly missed but had a great time with the family in California.
Papa Dan, Barbra, and Joel Polino our worker, express our sincere thanks to you who gave financial support and prayers for Joel's surgery. The growth on the back and right side of his head was the size of a golf ball and caused a lot of pressure as well as breaking open from time to time and draining excessively. The Dr. stated it could have became cancerous but Praise God! it didn't and the removal by surgery was successful. The growth had been growing for several years and we had hoped to be able to pay for it ourselves but just never could financially do so and so that is why we had ask for your help. Making payments for medical or hospitalization is not allowed in the Philippines because of so many peoples inability to pay. Everything has to be paid as each procedure is done and whenever any meds are administered. Therefore, many Filipino's can't get the medical help they need unless they are fortunate enough to be able to take out medical insurance and only a hand-full can afford that. We thank you all who give financial support because it has enabled us to take care of our workers, making sure they have vitamins, medications, good milk and healthy foods.
Now on to areas of the ministry:
The week before Christmas Papa Dan had an Elders meeting with Elders of Let God Arise Ministries, with six Elders present along with Papa Dan who is of course the Founder and President. They discussed changes and transitions God had spoken to Papa Dan to make concerning the over all ministry. There are many different issues concerning child education, church buildings, who are under the covering of Let God Arise Ministries, International. Also as mentioned in the previous newsletter, we have been given what is called, Bible School in a box, and that is also something we will be working toward.

This week Papa Dan ministered in Bacolod, which is also part of Negros Island. Then in February he will be going back into Mindanao.
