To all our family and friends of LET GOD ARISE MINISTRIES.
As I set here in my office preparing to write this news letter, several things are in my heart.
The most important is the fact that we are living in exciting times! A time of Father fulfilling his word about pouring out his Spirit. (see Joel 28)
Things are exciting over here because of the special things we experience and see God doing everyday. Many people are turning to serve the Lord, healing are taking place on a larger scale than ever before. Father is revealing His love and plan for many people as we go forth in ministry.
A long time dream, which I have had ever since coming to this nation is being fulfilled. Father has brought together a team of elders to work together with us in the ministry. All of which are called by Father to serve him in different offices of the five fold ministry. (see Eph. 4:11) I remember a word given to Barbra and I as we were attending a conference in Pasadena Ca. a few years ago. A man of God called us out of the crowd and said, because of the large vision and work of the ministry, God was going to add many Timothy's to work with us. Praise God it is coming to pass.
Seven of these men traveled with me to Bohol and Cebu Islands to minister to Pastors in three different seminars. Wow we had a move of God that challenged leaders to rise up and defeat the enemy. One Pastor that attended the meeting in Bohol, had a radio program the day after the leaders training. All he could do was tell all about what Father said and did. Three of those who ministered with us came all the way from Mindanao Island, three were from Negros Island where our base is located and one from Bohol Island.
On the Island of Cebu we ministered to two different ministries. One a large mercy ministry, feeding thousands of poor people and the other a church ministry with a large Christian school. Father spoke to them and brought words of encouragement and challenge. One of the latest men to be added to our team is an American. God used he and I to prophecy and help set the church in order. They were all crying and praising God, we cried and rejoiced with them! That same group came here all the way from Cebu so we could minister to them. They rented a place near our base and for two days, we were poured out to them.
I am also excited because soon it will be time for me to return to the US. I am excited to see my lovely wife again. It is very hard for me to be separated from her. We both know it is worth the sacrifice just to obey God. Because of her need for a new hip, she had to stay behind in California. I am determined to bring her back with me, healed and able to travel with me. She is a very vital part of the ministry team and needed to be here at my side. Thank all of you for your prayers for her, please do not give up until we see victory.
Also I am excited to see many of you as we travel across the USA to minister. We will come to you with anticipation of what Father will do and say. In our last letter we told you about a transition that God was putting on my heart. Well that transition has happened and continues, Father has helped us refocus our selves to be given to the vision he gave us when he first called us to this great nation. River of Life Network will continue under the covering of LGA. We will have a Prophetic Worship Conference to held in one of our LGA church facilities, next Feb. 2008, in Bacolod City. I am excited to tell you my Pastors Glen & Helen Richards will return to the Philippines once again.
On the back of our van we use here for ministry, Barbra placed a sticker which reads, WHERE GOD GUIDES HE PROVIDES. The afternoon that I was to buy our boat tickets for our ministry trip to Bohol and Cebu, I had just over two thousand pesos, forty dollars US. That was not enough money for our trip, I said to Father; If you want us to go please provide the needed funds. About that time our cooking stove ran out of gas. It cost over 500 pesos to refill it. My SS comes every month on the third, our support coming from some of you comes around the tenth of the month. It was the 26 of March and wasn't expecting and money in our ministry account. It was getting late to purchase the boat tickets, I went to the bank account to see if there was an answer to our need. Praise God! Someone placed enough money in the account for our trip. God your sooooooo good! Then I went to the pier to purchase the tickets and one of the boats was not sailing and the other was full. I asked the lady attending to me, please are you sure you have no beds left. She looked at me and said well I have some but maybe you will not like them. I said never mind please give us those beds. I am not sure what she was talking about, when we located our beds they were in an air-condition room. How good is God, do not ask me what happened, I do not really know. I do know people like you make all this possible because of your prayers and financial support.
God added four more local Churches last year to give this ministry monthly support. One in Montana and one in Colorado and one in Oregon and the other in Oklahoma. They join the two churches in California and many friends of the ministry who continue to make it possible for us to stay on the mission field.
We have many Churches that are under the umbrella of LGA. Many of them have nice completed facilities, like the one in Bocolod City. We have five ministries that are in need of our help to complete unfinished church buildings. I have been and will continue to use my SS to help them all I can. My small SS is not enough for the burden Father has placed on my heart for these ministries. Maybe if you were able to travel with me and see their need, the you also would catch the burden to help them. I realize most of you can not come here, so I will bring them to you, through pictures and words. You all know it has not been my mission to raise money when I come to minister with you. I am asking you to pray about giving me the place to present this need to you when I come. All for Him and His Kingdom.
We covet your prayers as Father is using us to help two ministries with internal problems. I will travel again this week to one of them. Pray for wisdom and love to be released to bring victory and turn what the enemy means for bad into victory. I am excited to be used of Father to fulfill words spoken over us in the eighties to go out and set Father's church in order here in this nation. Also He is using us to help with this in the USA, we were just asked to be on the board of directors for a ministry who has gone and going through a change to Biblical order.
