Dear Family and Friends,

This is an up-date of what has been happening this term here in the Philippines.

Our first trip after arriving in the Philippines in Jan. 2009, we traveled to two of the L.G.A. churches to check on their progress of their church construction and to also minister in the churches. We also had a good friend, Gary who traveled with us and did video showings as Evangelistic outreach in the evenings with great responses. Gary and his wife have also become a part of Let God Arise Ministries and will be licensed. Sure most of you know of the accident that happened on the way back to Dumaguete and praise the Lord that case is all settled and case dismissed, but not without having to pay money for the young man's funeral and also for his life being taken. Praise the Lord for the tremendous outpouring of support in prayers here and the U.S. as well as monetary offerings that fully covered all those expenses with money left over that enabled Barbra to go back to the U.S. to be with her sister, who died just before her plane landed in Tulsa, Ok., but she was able to be great support to the family.

The day right after Barbra arrived from the U.S. we had to drive to Bacolod (4hrs.) to pick up the ministry team who did a School of Worship Training for four days, and then we flew to Mindanao and then drove for another 4 hours to hold another School of Worship Training for four days there. The team was from Westminster, Co. The Rock Church. Our churches here were greatly blessed and their worship to God was very much improved. We look forward to them coming back again to hold schools in other places. After the team fly back to the U.S, Papa Dan and I continued to minister in Mindanao in two different places.

Then we returned to Dumaguete and went directly to Bacolod again to minister to the church there for two days. After that we traveled several hundred kilometers ministering to L.G.A. churches in, Hinatuan, Trento, Salvacion, and Kitcharao, Mindanao. The church in Trento had a baptismal service the Sunday after we left and they baptized 30 new converts. We traveled to two other places in MIndanao to meet with pastors who requested to become part of L.G.A.. We also ministered to a church in Iligan City, and Ozamiz, Mindanao. The we had a 12 hour drive back to the barge to put our vehicle on and four hours across to Dumaguete City.

Now we are here preparing for our trip back to the U.S. and we will arrive there on June 15.

We thank you all you for your prayer and financial support for the work of the ministry here in the Philippines. We have a full schedule planned for our return back to the Philippines sometime in November. We will be traveling to many places while we are in the U.S. and we look forward to seeing some of you while we are there.

God bless you all for all you do for His Kingdom,
Papa Dan & Barbra
