Mary and I continue to pray that your ministry will grow and many souls will be won through your service to and mentoring of the local church pastors and leity. We believe that God has a great awakening for the Philippines and that an awsome revival fire will be ignited that will scorch the earth and recalim the souls lost over the years. I have seen this mighty flow when I was in ministering in Manila in 2003 and the Lord began to show us (and had us call out) the causes for illness and struggles in several church leaders. We spoke of things long hidden and buried that the Holy Spirit required of them to bring them back to a right relationship with Him. It was not a comfortable moment for them or for us but the Lord demanded that they confront and renounce these things in their lives before he would begin a new revival in their midst.
We are all bond servants unto our God, not slaves sold into bondage, but freemen who willfully bound themselves to the Master because of His great Love for us and our love for Him. When you give yourself fully, you give your best because you trust your Master to meet your needs, as you follow His Word and His leading, and you feel a personal sense of pride and satisfaction in your service to Him. At least that is how Mary and I see ourselves.
We are also feeling the blessings beginning to flow and we believe that we are now on the path to what could be a very serious financial breakthrough with a substancial portion of the profits being given to Hope/DGIM for project finance. We have worked very diligently for the last ten years and have been disappointed many times by man's greed and short sightedness. Yet, through it all God has given Mary and me a heart of forgiveness for them and a Joseph spirit to understand that God is not moved by our circumstances. I have held on to the promises we have received through the years and have no question in my heart, mind and soul that God will set a table before our enemies to His glory. Based on this calling, to serve Him with our best, what does it matter if old club foot throws something in the way once in a while? Jacob, even through his deceit, called upon the Lord his God and He answered with a vision and a promise, Joseph, a slave, perservered against one of the most powerful men in the world, Paul and Silas, Jailed for refusing to stop preaching the truth, rejoiced and praised the Lord while in jial, and many others ignored thier circumstances and broke through to blessing!
We see this happening in your ministry and also in the ministries of other Philippine pastors and churches that have begun to seek out the truth of His promise.
I see revival swelling up as a mighty wave ready to "tsunammi" the Philippine Islands with a cleansing power of unfathomable Spirt filled proportions that will destroy and wash away the filth of man and replace it with the sweet savor of God's love for his people. I see 2007 as a year of great Victory in the Philippines. To God be the Glory!!
We pray that we will soon meet to work together for the advancement of His kingdom through the planting, watering and reaping of the bountiful harvest that is the Philippines.
