Let God Arise Ministries Philippines

From the Founder's Desk

Recently we have had some trials in our physical bodies. For several years Barbra, my wife has had a challenge with her hip. It has been bone on bone for several years. We believe that God sent Jesus not only to die for our sins, but also provide healing for our bodies. Why she has not yet been healed, has never been a question in my mind. We remind ourselves with the story of Job. "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord". We also know that Father has provided Doctor's for our healing needs.
I also have been challenged as never before in my fifty-six years of being a Christian and forty-eight of ministry. Over the years I have personally been healed of, two ruptured disks in my spine, cancer, typhoid fever, internal bleeding just to mention the major healings. All the above were healing from God without the aid of Doctors.

This last February, I faced a new and different challenge. We were traveling in Mindanao, a Pastor, his wife and we being from Arizona, my wife and one of our Filipino son's in the faith. It had been seven days that I was not able to urinate. My wife finally made me go to a doctor. He told me to go directly to Davao a city large enough to have a good hospital. I did not realize how bad I was. To make a long story shorter, allow me to just say, they drained over four liters of urine from me in the emergency room. They wanted to operate. It was only a few days until our national ROLN meeting in Butuan. So I left the hospital with the catheter in me, because I knew Father had given me a word from Him for the Pastors. I tied the bag around my leg and wore long pants. God gave me strength to do what He wanted me to do.

Oh yes, the two things that happened during my two days in the hospital, made it worth it all. A little Chinese nurse began talking with me, as she found out I was a Pastor. Her Faith had been shaken by an atheist who was trying to prove to her God did not exist. God used me to lead her back to Him. She had a Muslim friend who was also a nurse. She brought her to my room and she accepted Jesus as her savior.
When I arrived back in Dumaguete City, this scripture was given to me and brought to me much needed understanding, about the past few weeks. Please read, II Corinthians 6: verses 1-10. This I know all things work out for the good!! So we keep pressing on.
