My Friend...When I think about the blessings
God has bestowed upon me,
Some become more prevalent,
And, clearly, I can see.
They're the jewels I hold most dear;
Their value can't be measured--
Each unique and beautiful,
Each a precious treasure.
Friends are God's life-preservers;
Yes, I think that says it best.
They save me when I'm drowning
In the sea of loneliness.
They mean so much to me--
More than they will ever know.
I love them all so much;
I pray, Lord, that it shows.
I can't seem to find the words
That convey just how I feel.
Thank You, Lord, for Your love
In which our friendship's sealed.
